Under contract with the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD, the center is responsible for the following:

a. Maintaining and operating the center in a decent, safe, and sanitary manner in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations of HPD.

b. Hiring and training all personnel.

c. Maintaining adequate equipment and furnishing inventory.

d. Planning and coordinating the moving in and out of families.

e. Systematic and prompt response to reasonable complaints and requests by residents.

f. Execution of maintenance contracts for services such as, electric, gas, fuel, plumbing, extermination, boilers maintenance, etc.

g. Preparation and submission to HPD an annual operating budget.
